Would You Like To Make An Impact?
A few years ago I was on LinkedIn and I suddenly saw an image of some words which stopped me in my tracks:
TRUE IMPACT IS IMPACTING THOSE WHO CAN IMPACT OTHER PEOPLE
The depth & revelation I received as I was thinking on these words was absolutely huge.
A few years earlier a man had mentored me almost daily for around 9 months, following me experiencing my entire picture-perfect life collapse in 2019.
He poured in to me.
He was there for me.
He gave me wisdom.
He gave me what I needed, time after time.
He sacrificed personal time to speak with me.
He impacted me in a way that neither of us yet can fully comprehend.
In early 2025 I was speaking with a business friend about the consultancy I lead Become People-Centric.
We were speaking about how we can better impact the culture, strategy & employee wellbeing of more organisations.
My friend suddenly gave this analogy:
If we each have 100 IMPACT points to give to companies, is it more effective to work with 100 companies, giving each company 1 of our personal IMPACT points, or is it more effective to work with 100 companies, specifically their leadership/C-Suite, giving each company 10 of our personal IMPACT points?
He continued “Then, by us positively impacting individual leaders of organisations, they will then go on to positively impact their whole organisation.”
Hearing this took me back to the words I had read years earlier:
TRUE IMPACT IS IMPACTING THOSE WHO CAN IMPACT OTHER PEOPLE
I was then reminded of a domain name I had purchased about a year earlier, and suddenly, the birth of Christ Consultancy began.
Today I am truly honoured that I have 3 colleagues alongside me, who like me, desire to impact people who can impact other people each day. I am thankful to God for the lived experiences of Debra, Russell and Shera.
Who are you impacting?
Have you considered that you could be impacting someone who is going to go on to impact many others?
You could be impacting a future world changer.
Grace and peace to you and your family.
